M. E. (Marjorie) Coutts fonds -- The fonds consists of photographs and documents. The photographs are arranged in four series of photos from the Dawson Creek area, most from the period 1915-1940. These photos were used by Mrs. Coutts in her 1958 book, Dawson Creek -- Past and Present. Photos are work of a number of local individuals (unidentified). Coroner's Inquest into Dawson Creek Explosion and Fire, February 1943 -- Consists of a verbatim transcript of the Coroner's Inquest convened to determine the cause of death of five persons in a fire and explosion which destroyed much of the business section of Dawson Creek on 13 February, 1943. Forty-three witnesses gave evidence and answered a total of 1688 questions put to them during the three-day inquest. [Record Number 2000.093]

Norman Clarke fonds -- Consists of the memoirs of Dorothy Ann (Mrs. H.P.) Clarke, nee Oliver, whose family settled in the Kilkerran area of the Peace River district shortly after World War I. 17 Works Company, Royal Canadian Engineers fonds -- Consists of a narrative history of 17 Works, RCE, during the time this unit of the Canadian Armed Forces was responsible for the maintenance of the Alaska Highway (1946-1964. Names of many military and civilian personnel associated with the 17 Works Company are included. [Record Number 2003.006]

Kasandra Giesbrecht Photo Collection -- Consists of 502 colour photographs making up an inventory of all business, commercial residential and public buildings in Dawson Creek in July, 2003. The photos were produced as part of Ms. Giesbrecht's work as summer staff with the South Peace Historical Society. [Record Number 2003.007]

Jake Fast Photo Collection -- Consists of a small scrapbook and comments related to the Dawson Creek Elementary School (1952-1969) including photos of fire which destroyed the school in May, 1969 and photos of the Dr. H.J. O'Brien Elementary School that replaced it. [Record Number 2003.010]

South Peace Art Society fonds -- Consists of administrative materials (minutes, financial reports, correspondence, etc.) related to the South Peace Art Society, 1962-1978 (primarily 1977-1978). [Record Number 2003.014]

Fred Filger Photo Collection -- Consists of 76 photographs related to the US Army's 341st Engineers (Company D) of which Fred Filger was a member. This unit of the US Army was one of many which built the intial Alaska Highway between March 1942 and the summer of 1943. [Record Number 2003.016]

Anne Haycock Photo Collection -- Consists of series of contemporary photos of people, places and activities in the Peace River area. The collection is being added to on a regular basis. [Record Number 2003.017}

Clarke Whittington Collection -- Consists of six photographs, a booklet and two greeting cards all relating to the construction of the Alaska Highway, 1942-1943, particularly in the Dawson Creek area. The Whittington family was one of many civilian contractors working on the Alaska Highway. [Record Number 2003.018]

Marcheta Leoppky Photo Collection -- Consists of 49 colour prints relating to Dawson Creek during the period 1988-1991, corresponding with Marcheta Leoppky's time as a member of the Dawson Creek City Council. [Record Number 2004.001]

Rick Coombs Photo Collection -- Consists of 31 digital images obtained from a boom crane during the 2003 Oil and Gas Conference in Dawson Creek as well as other images related to construction of walking paths (The Dawson Trail) in Dawson Creek, a Rotary Club project. [Record Number 2004.002]

Merrill J. Flewelling fonds -- Consists largely of programs for concerts by groups formed by or conducted by Flewelling between 1980 and 1995.
